Activity Forums DaVinci Resolve “Minimum length” setting for Scene detection…pls

    all the way back to the Renaissance. Scene Detect hasn’t really changed much at all.

    I’ve dealt with this for so long, I just accept it as a sad part of life. At least you can prune the list and get rid of the unnecessary cuts in flashes and dissolves.

    I agree that being able to set a “minimum shot length” would be very handy. I’d also like to be able to select only part of a segment on a timeline in the edit window and have Scene Cut Detect just go in and slice up that specific segment and not the entire file.

    Also handy would be to select cuts in cut screen in the list with sift or cmd and execute
    delete on many of them at once. Maybe it doable already but in my memory it says you have to do them
    one by one.
