I have started to work for a school who has probally 300 + MiniDV’s stacked up and porrly labeled from the past seven years. Is there a good Tape indexing program for the MAC than can index my tapes quickly like Scenelyzer does for the PC ? I dont have easy access to a PC to use scenelyzer. . .so I need to trya nd find something for the Mac.

    Any thoughts??

    Thanks

I’ve heard good things about CatDV (see versiontracker.com) but have never used it myself. Since we are FCP users on Macintoshes, you’d have to tell us about this PC app of yours for us to have a clue what it did before we could suggest a similar product for the Mac.

    hi there

    google these:

    1,Imagine Products

    2. CatDV

    3. Digital Heaven

i know imagine has scene detection. (scenelyzer sounds like the old dubner Scene Stealer)

    hope this helps
