MiniDV Player for Playback of AG-DVC30 Tapes
I own a Panasonic AG-DVC30 which places a time code on its MiniDV tape. If I play back one of my prerecorded tapes with this camcorder and use a PC to capture the video, the camcorder’s remote allows me to turn the date/time display off so it does not appear in the captured video. Instead of using the camcorder to play back all my tapes for capture, I am looking to purchase a used MiniDV player. Does anyone know if there is a player which would allow me to turn off the date/time display in the final video in the same way as my camcorder? I’ve been looking at the Panasonic AG-DV1000 or the Sony DSR-11, but I’m not sure if either would work for me. Thanks.
