mini dv video from ntsc to pal
hi from Maurizio – Italy
can i convert a ntsc mini dv tape to pal format
just copying the tape again
from a pal-ntsc dv player
to an another which uses pal?or can I convert it otherway?

No “deck-to-deck” systems conversion is possible (unless the deck SPECIFICALLY has this as a FEATURE (not just “switchable” between NTSC or PAL)
You would need to route the signal through a real-time hardware “box” Systems Convertor,
or
copy the footage into a non-linear edit system (like Final Cut Pro) and use software to do the conversion, then dub the footage back out to a deck set to the proper format.
