  Mini DV Tape Capture with Tape Metadata

  Hi

  I’m capturing some old 5-10 year old Mini-DV Tapes Using Premiere Pro CS 5.5 on a Mac Pro OS 10.6.8 and firewire using a Sony HC1 HDV / DV camcorder. I did a capture now of the whole tape, no logging and capture. The capture does great (formerly I used FCP, actually PPro tape capture seems less buggy). Anyway, I was wondering if there is any way to embed the time and date metadata automatically as the clip is being captured that’s part of the DV format into the clips? This would be the icing on the cake.
