mini dv
i know this is very dumb, but ive not used the P2 to record mini DV before and im stumped on how to get it off tape and onto my FCP.
its in tape mode, i press and hold the button for two seconds, like i would in P2 mode, and the screen flashes DUB MODE over and over before going to a blue screen, i can only assume i need to have some form of setting applied that i dont have.
i’d really appreciate some help as im losing my tether trying to work out something i know will be stupidly simple to fix.

Camera in Tape mode > VCR mode (just hit and release the select button when in Record mode, do not hold in for the 2 secs. The in FCP (or what ever NLE you have) you need to go through Log and CAPTURE.
