  Mimiq now on Mac and Win

  At IBC 2022 day 1, Hedge announced that Mimiq is now part of Hedge. Existing users will be upgraded and transitioned as per the age of their licence.

  For those who don’t know, Mimiq lets you use any NAS that connects to multiple systems over SMB or NFS, to be used as an Avid disk storage. And it lets multiple users share projects and lock bins, like an Avid Nexis.

  All the sharing users have to be running Avid Media Composer Ultimate.

  Pricing is $ 400 for 2 users, 50% off on additional seats, or $3600 for 20 seats.

  Mimiq is Apple Silicon compatible, Windows compatible, doesn’t need Mac address locked licenses.

  And, in conjunction with Postlab, you can even have one or more collaborators off premises but still working with the same media.
