  Mimicing Lady Gaga Telephone Effect

  look at the video from 8:12 – 8:38 {that is exactly what I am trying to do}

  Ok, so in this video, I am trying to mimic the effect where beyonce has the telephone receiver and the video is playing forward to a certain point and then playing backwards to a certain point, for a matter of seconds for 2-3 repetitions. I am new to Vegas Pro and it seems like it should be a rather simple effect however, I can’t seem to figure it out. I know it is a newbie question, however since it is a newbie question, I’ll take being flamed as long as you give me some sort of explaination or point me in the right direction towards figuring out how to do this. Thank you in Advance.
