Hi folks. Can anyone tell me what effect/s to use to make someones voice sound like a new york subway conductors voice coming through the subway intercom. I only have the plugins that come with soundtrack pro. If there’s a third party plugin that is recommended, could you let me know what that is, if it works with sountrack. thanks a lot

    Use Hi-Pass Filter.

And/or 3-Band EQ with low frequencies rolled off and the 2500Hz frequency increased.

You want to cut out the low frequencies and amplify the highs.

Adding to Matte’s idea, you might try adding a little echo or reverb to “sell” the effect. Both are plugins in FCP.
