migrating vegas non pro to pro projects
Hi Vegas forum – I’m on the verge of a serious upgrade of hardware & software and just wondered if it easy (or not) to migrate a project I’m working on in Movie Studio platinum 12 on 32 bit PC (which I currently use) into pro 13 on 64 bit PC or more likely new Mac pro(which I intend to get). The effects (vegas bundled and NewBlue) will be 16bit won’t move over I’d have thought but will at least the timeline clips be ok? I ask as I’m currently working on a complex project I’d like to finish off on new upgrade but not sure if I’ll be wasting my time working on it in my current set up, i.e. worried it’ll end up being abortive time?

All of your timeline clips and edit decisions will be preserved. Any 32-bit plug-ins will get lost when you move to 64-bit as you\’ve already said. That\’s about the only problem you\’ll see. Movie Studio projects should open in Vegas Pro without any other problems.
