Currently a Matrox Digisuite edit suite. To migrate to a Mac-based FCP system, to handle a spectrum of jobs from 20-minute length corporate videos to broadcast quality TVCs in HD, what would an optimal PAL FCP system comprise. I would expect it to include hardware-accelerated capture and FX boards, a 1TB RAID and output to Betacam and DV decks. Don’t require shared data storage system at this stage. Thanks in anticipation for the advice!

That does not exist at this point for FCP. There are rumors that a hardware-accelerated version possibly called FCP Extreme may be coming to market someday, but thats just talk. So, maybe need to look at Avid or Matrox.
