    Hi,
I am editing using a mac pro quad core system I purchased just over a year ago running snow leopard and FCP 7. I am editing Sony EX1 footage.
For the last year it’s been fine but recently when in FCP the apple mighty mouse becomes very slow indeed, almost un-useable.
At first I thought it was my mouse but when i’m not in FCP, the mouse seems fine? Could it be a RAM issue?
It’s just strange how it’s been ok up to now?

If anyone can help i would very grateful indeed.

    Steve

a few weeks ago I got one of the Logitech MX Revolutions. It’s been very, very good. Their wireless is more snappy than the Mighty Mouse Bluetooth

Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. If the mouse was slow all the time I would probably look to changing it but as it’s only when FCP is running it seems that the problem is elsewhere.
Thankyou very much for your recommendation

I had the same situation. That’s why I made the recommendation.
