Hmmm, it’s been a while since you posted this, but if you are still having problems…

I have the same control surface and I got it working great with all the software you described. Problems with getting it that way were many, but I found a document on the Behringer site. I just wished I would remember exactly where, then I would really look like the hero. It is there.

    hey, sacci,
hope you got the Behringer to talk to FCP ok.

i’ve been trying to get it to work, too.

i thought it would be just plug n play,
but i had to “teach” the Behringer what i wanted each fader to do.
(like control a fader in FCP, as if that wasn’t obvious!)

so i;m up and running on a rudimentary level.

next i;d like to assign a button on the Behringer to toggle keyframe recording in FCP,
but that;s beyond me at the moment.

    have you mastered it yet?
any idea how to do what i want?
any other cool things you have discovered? (sorry, i hate those all-encompasing questions, but i had to ask 🙂 )

    cheers,
    nick

Here’s the trick to get this mixer to work correctly with FCP and STP:

    1. Turn the mixer OFF
    2. While holding down the THIRD BUTTON from the LEFT on the TOP row of keys (just under the rotary knobs), turn ON the mixer.

The display should now read “LC”, which means it’s setup for LOGIC control. In FCP, change the control surface to LOGIC, and you’re ready to go.
