Midi Machine Control?
Does FCP slave to Midi Machine Control? It’s hard to believe FCP wouldn’t support MMC, but I can’t find it anywhere.
If not, what solutions are available to slave FCP to another computer?

FCP is not a music recording or composing program, so it’s not surprising that it wouldn’t use MIDI. The world of video uses RS-422 or RS-232 machine control. And, sorry, FCP does not slave. For that you would need something like Virtual VTR.

Thanks for the input. Actually FCP does use MIDI, and works nicely with my Mackie Control Surface, transport controls, shuttle wheel, etc.
No way to slave FCP? At all? Weird.
