Microsoft Office
I’m working for a company with 3 Media 100 XRs, running v8.2.1 on OS 10.3.2, on Dual g4 1ghz machines. Yes they’re getting old, but they work and do the job.
It was proposed to purchase Microsoft Office for them, mainly because we sometimes get briefs as PowerPoint files, but a few of us had a hunch that Office has caused some issues with media 100 machines in the past.
Is this still the case, or is it some old OS-9 issue…
Has anyone had problems running Microsoft Office on machines with the above specs…

I run Media 100i XR v8.2.2 with OSX 10.3.9 on a Dual 1.42 G4. I have Office 2004 on the machine with no problems what so ever.

Same here Chris, never had any issue with running Office (now the latest) and media100 on the same machine
under OS-X. Currently run 8.2.2, OS 10.5, Office(latest) on a G4 dual1.25.
Do vaguely recall something that affected M100 under OS9 and Office… but can’t recall.regards
