    Microsoft 2005 (& 2008) C ++ Redistributables won’t install

    I’m running Windows 7. I have SONY VEGAS MOVIE STUDIO HD PLATINUM PRODUCTION SUITE 10. Sony Vegas needs to install Microsoft 2005 C ++ Redistributable SP1 and Microsoft 2008 C ++ Redistributable SP1 but cannot because of this error message: “The system administrator has set policies to prevent installation”. I have UAC turned off. And I am the administrator. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    You can try restarting your pc first, then download instead
    these Microsoft 2005 C ++ Redistributable SP1 and Microsoft 2008 C ++ Redistributable SP1 . Then install those…if stil
    a problem, right click and install as admin.
