I need a microphone for my DVX for inteviews in outdoor settings. I’ve learned the hard way that a cheap lapel mic hooked up to a second cheap camera just amounts to a SERIOUS headache. what might you suggest? would a camera mounted MC100G get the job done or should I take it further? sadly I’m tied to a tight budget but I’m open to all suggestions. . . I greatly appreciate the help

Well if your on a tight budget then wireless is not an option. If you just have one person talking and you want to go lav i would recomend the Shure SM93 (150-200), but with multiple people you may then need multiple mics, i havent used the MC100G yet but was planing on getting one with my dvx package. You could also get a stick mic or use a differnt kind of condensor to handle multiple people with a single mic. Hope that helps a little.
