Is there a way to set up the primary color corrector in the Micro Studio Camera (BMMSC) without needing an ATEM switcher? I can’t find any information about loading LUTs into the camera directly. I don’t think we could use an ATEM anyway as the camera would be wireless. Does the control protocol work through any other hardware like a Decklink card or Teranex?

    Hi Scott,

You can also use the Blackmagic Arduino Shield. Documentation for the control protocol is published in the camera’s user manual.

    Thanks Kristian,

Looking further into the Shield. Fascinating what Skaarhoj has done with it.

With our camera application being wireless, after I set up the camera, will the settings hold after it has been unplugged from the SDI. Will the camera body keep these settings after a power cycle? (Battery changes, etc.)

    Thanks for the help.

The settings will stick when the SDI is unplugged but if the camera is power cycled, it will revert back to default settings.
