Mic+Blimp Maintenance doubt
Hi everybody,
I’m working in a set for many days recording sounds with a mic+blimp. For good maintenance I pack away mic and blimp in their boxes every evening, and take them out every morning, but this practice requires time and slows down the work.
Is a good idea, in your opinion, to let the mic in its blimp over a tripod simply covering the blimp with a plastic bag (to avoid dust)? Or do you recommend to pack away everything for good maintenance?

Leave the mic setup in the blimp as long as it’s safe from damage or sticky fingers.
