MFX files not relinking
Shot on Panasonic 200 to firestore, then transferred to an external hard drive, then copy/paste to MFX/1 and avid recognized the files. 2/3rd of the files work great but then there are groups of files that are there but when I go to look at them I get media offline. Is there any process I can do in Avid to relink files?? Help.

You can try rebuilding the media database. Throw out the database files in the MXF folder.
Other than that, it appears you have found one of the weak spots of working with P2 in Avid.

Sad but true. I have to do this constantly, and occasionally at random times. 🙁
I really wish this was as easy and straightforward as it should be, given that it’s just a matter of transferring data.
