I will try and make this sound simple 🙂

It is to with best possible export from AE to a web site.

    Method I used so far.

I taken a image (ladybird) and pen tooled out in pshop and brought into AE and used the pen puppet tool to animate a ladybird.

I have exported the animation to SWF and placed into dreamweaver and have a animation.

But it retain a background color, which i do not wish.

File size is 324 kbs and is still to big.

So I did it again but this time with the background of the web site and match it up inside dreamweaver.

I like to make it smaller and what other methods a person might use to do this.

If you need links or other information just ask.

Dave, once again, my friend … kudos for saying what the rest of us were thinking … I read the post yesterday, but decided I shouldn’t have to spend my time trying to decipher a question in order to answer.

lol Indeed, those poor teachers must have totally demolished self-esteem. At the same time, it seems there’s a strong movement these days toward considering proper English and grammar passé (says the guy who just started a paragraph with “lol”).

    > I have exported the animation to SWF…

    Why?

If you’re not working with vector graphics, SWF probably isn’t the right choice.

Look into rendering and exporting as an FLV or F4V file. These formats are made for video, so compression and such are much better.

See this page and the pages that it points to.
