    hey guys,
i did alot of interviews for a documentary. there is a very high pitch ring in the interviews when i turn the tracks up to a decent audible volume. is there a way to get rid of that high ring tone without taking it into soundtrack pro?
    thanks guys

If the ring is a higher frequency than the speech you should try a low pass filter to remove it. I think that’s right (and it’s not the high pass filter) – I always get these the wrong way around, and I’m pretty sure it’s the one you think it isn’t…. If you see what I mean.

Anyway – should be pretty fixable. If the audio level is low, there’s a gain audio filter as well.

A notch filter might be a better bet as the low-pass might be a bit too much as it will cut all frequencies above the cut-off. A notch filter can be more selective and just cut the noise tighter.
