Mesh Deformer lagging 1 frame behind with simulation
I have tried to change hierarchy, but nothing I do so far can stop the 1 frame lag for rigid body dynamics.
I even tried a simple sphere object with mesh deformer set to a cube.
The cube then has a rigid body tag.
I have 1 frame lag in the viewport, and when I wiggle the mouse, the lag jumps to the present. However, with my IPR window (Arnold), the render also shows the lag behind which only corrects in viewport and render when I move the mouse.
I moved the cube object below the sphere in the object manager, but the result is the same.
What am I doing wrong?
I am on C4D 2025.1.1, but I don’t see this as a bug fix in any recent patch.
It even occurs when I cache the rigid body.
