Meridian Uncompressed SD stutters in PP5.5
I have an MC project which I am finishing in PPCS5.5. I tried an export an Avid Merdian Uncompressed PAL 720×576 to import in PP5.5. When I play the clip in PP it plays fine for a couple of seconds then starts to stutter. Pausing the clip and restarting plays fine for a few seconds then stutters again. My CPU load is down around 20% so I don’t think it is that causing the problem. When I play the Meridian file in VLC it plays without stutter although it displays as a dual split image which is really odd. Playing in Quicktime stutters but normal size.
I thought it could be the hard drive speed as the media drive is raid 0 WD Greens ( I know greens are not recommended) but then surely it would not play in VLC either.
System Spec
W7 64Bit / Media drive 2 x WD Green 2TB Raid 0 / 8GB Ram / Intel Q8400 Quad core 2.66Ghz.Cheers

Anybody using Meridien uncompressed as an intermediary between MC and PPCS5.5 who has had this stutter issue?
