    Hello all,

First off, happy 4th of July to all Americans reading today 🙂

In a few weeks I’ll be shooting concerts with a C300. I’ll be doing postprod on PremierPro. As the C300 MXF files structure is 2 or 4GB max per file, I’ll end up with multiple files for a same long clip.

As I need to sync my clips to sound recorded on another source, I want to find a good software to merge my MXF files together (properly handling audio as well) before I bring these clips into Premier pro and sync with PluralEyes.

    Any suggestions of software ?

    Thank you !

I’m pretty sure you won’t have to worry about it. I have the C100, and if memory serves, just copy the entire file structure from the card onto your hard disc. Then, in Premiere, use the Media Browser to go into the directory, and Premiere will see the shots as one file for you to import. The “concatenation” of the individual media files Premiere handles virtually, behind the scenes. I’m not in a position to verify that, but I believe that’s what happens.
