Merging After Effects effects to shape layers
hi there,
is there a way to “merge” applied effects like wave warp to a shape layer like it is in adobe illustrator? so that i get an animated path and not a distorted shape?
i want to render it as a json via Lottie extension and the applied effects keep disappearing.

No, unfortunately, there is not. Wave Warp works on pixels, and Lottie needs paths. I don’t even think Wiggle Paths is well-supported in Lottie.
