    Hello Creative cow world,

My question is about match framing merged files. For some reason when I Match Frame a merged file that has 4 tracks of audio (2 mono and 1 stereo pair) FCP matches back to the same frame but with only 2 tracks of audio. Some times it drops the stereo pair, and sometimes the mono pair. Is this a setting? FCP has never done this to me before. Is this a case of trashing your preferences? I tried repairing permissions but that did not seem to help.

    Using FCP 5.14, Dual 2GH G5’s, 3.5GB ram.

P.S it seems to be dropping whatever audio tracks that are not in the sequence. Could this be caused by making many copies of a time line? We work on a new copy of the time line every day. Also when I cut in new merged files they seem to work fine.
