  Merged clips workflow question

  Hi All

  I’m working on a project that was a 20 day 7D shoot with dual audio. For each shoot day I transcoded the footage to Prores 422 Proxy in it’s own FCP7 project, then used PluralEyes to sync and make merged clips for editing.

  Once that was done I created a master project and dragged the merged clips from each day into it. When I’m done editing, I’m going to use Media Manager and Batch Capture to create a high res final timeline.

  Does anyone see any potential problems in this workflow? Would having only the merged clips but not the individual unmerged audio and video clips cause any trouble with Media Manager or Batch Capture?
