Hey guys, working on a video shot in 3.2K and I created 720p proxy files for everything. I merged all my clips with their audio via timecode and started pulling my selects when I noticed the machine was a bit sluggish. Turns out the merged clips don’t seem to have the same proxy workflow as the raw clips which I assume is because Premiere is making it think that the merged clips are essentially new files?

I tried making the media in the merged clips offline which worked and obviously shrank the frame size way down but I’m trying to avoid that headache.

Any thoughts as to how to incorporate the proxy workflow with the Merged clips that I have? Appreciate it.
