  • Merge PSD files into one PSD file?

Posted by Jon Finster on July 3, 2007 at 9:02 pm

Hopefully the subject title makes sense. I want to take 10 separate PSD files (all with one layer) and merge them into one PSD file (ending up with 10 layers).

Is this possible in Photoshop CS?

    Thanks.

Duplicate layer from each of your 10 images into a new document.

The first one will be New the next 9 will be into Untitled-1.

If you have different size documents duplicate the largest first.

    Cheers,

    Joe

I don’t think I understand – do you mean Ctrl-C the layer, and then Ctrl-V it into a new layer? And keep doing that for all 10 PSD files?

That’s what I’ve been doing. I just thought there’d be an easier way.
