Merge alpha channels?
Posted by Jon Herron on August 10, 2005 at 7:54 pmI know there is an option to merge alpha channels, BUT PSHOP never allows me to do it…anyone know how to do this??

August 15, 2005 at 3:36 amI often prefer to do it myself – i.e., Ctrl-click (or Command-click on a Mac) on an alpha channel to select its contents – then go into another channel and either fill that selection with white or black as needed. Hope that makes sense…

October 24, 2007 at 6:24 pmIndeed, and thanks!, although it’s pretty FRIKKIN annoying that the IMAGE/CALCULATIONS command is ghosted if two alpha channels are selected. (grrrrrrr)
WUWT, Adobe???
