Mercedes Logo Help
I had some help earlier (Adam) guiding me through my rough Modeling skills 🙂 I have successfully modeled the beveled star for the Mercedes Logo.. Now I was wondering if there is an easy way to create the outer ring with the same beveled center. My outer ring now is just an extrude Circle. Any guidance will be helpful … thanks

Nevermind I figured it out.. I created a disk with 2 segments and lifted the center path..

You also could create something similar by the following:
-create circle for outer edge
-copy and scale in slightly
-use the connect function to make one spline
-duplicate the connected spline, scale outer edge down, and inner edge up
-move up on y axis
-group under loftNurbsIt’s good to have multiple approaches to the same model in case you run into problems.
