November 29, 2015 at 2:32 pmOK purchased vegas 13 and maybe it me, but if you are familiar with mercalli tell me if you think this is right. I looks way too shaky for me.

November 29, 2015 at 4:17 pmExactly… Mercalli did nothing and even a few frames were worse. What can we do?
Hopefully someone on the forum will have the answer.
PS. I’m using the Vegas plugin and not the stand along version.

November 29, 2015 at 5:22 pmYes, and as a note I noticed although the instructions said it required vegas 13 it found 12 and installed it correctly an showed up as a 3rd party plugin in vegas 12. I figured since they say it requires 13 it must have been a bug that it showed up in 12 and that is why it was not rendering correctly. Now I just spent another $200 to get 13 and am getting the same results as 12!
Here is another using a screen capture to show how good it looks in vegas

November 29, 2015 at 6:01 pmIf it looks good in preview, but not when rendered, then you have another problem. Sounds like somewhere you are disabling effects. Make sure that you don’t have all effects disabled in the little split screen preview icon on your video preview window. As an aside, it works perfectly for me. I would also suggest using universal rather glidecam.

November 29, 2015 at 6:03 pmSo what you’re saying is that it’s no good for Vegas version 12?

November 29, 2015 at 7:34 pmUpdate: well, I am getting results.
First I had Bypass fx pushed so be sure to check that.
Next I bought vegas 13 to see if that was it but got the same results!
I went back to vegas 12 (even though the manual say 13 required) and deleted all the mercalli fx, then went back and added the mercalli fx reanalyzed and checked “match project settings” and saved as an avi and it worked, really good. So now I have to see if I can get results for the entire video.
So yes it works on 12
Update2 Looks like the trick for me was check “match project settings” on render setting. Now it’s all good in 12 and 13
Hope this helps.
