  • Menu is Poor Quality in Encore and has Black Bars at the top

So, I created a DVD menu in After Effects and rendered it out as H.264 Bluray with a pixel aspect ratio of 1.333 (since my camera does a resolution of 1440×1080), but when I import it into Encore, the quality of the footage is fairly poor compared the the actual movie which I imported from Premiere. And, to make matters worse, Encore puts black bars on the top and bottom of the menu… and I have no idea why. Both solutions may be fairly simple, but my lack of insight into these programs makes this a little frustrating.
Maybe I should render out the After Effects project in some other format?
If anyone has any ideas or questions for further clarification, I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.
