    Hi,

    Wondering if anyone can help,

Over the last few days, My After effects CS5 64Bit. has been eating up 82% of my memory causing my computer to crash. / Die on its self leaving AE un-responsive.

It use to run, at 44% Always. Perfectly, without any issues.

then since monday this week, it starts at 1% and climbs in about 5 seconds to 82 – 88% memory Used.

I have tried the Secrect Menu part and set it to 15 which worked yesterday, Then this morning, when I went to render something,

The memory went back to 88%…

I hadn’t turn’t the computer off over night, So its not like it lost any of the settings…

    The computer is…

    windows 7.
    64Bit
    After Effects CS5.

    2.67GHZ i5 Intel
    3GB RAM

    Thanks’

    Stewart,

Buy a Mac… just kidding, the problem I think is that you only have 3GB of RAM which is peanuts for AE. The minimum recommended RAM per processing core is 2GB, so adding some RAM to your system may solve the issue.
