I have a client that wants to create a Memory or Thought transition very similar to what is used in the show “That’s So Raven” which can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZUqj0hqIZ4

He wants to use the zoom on the eye transition for his music video. Any ideas out there on how to go about shooting and then creating this effect?

    take a normal distance shot.
and a closeup of the eye.

use the pan-behind tool, set it to the desired eye.

zoom about half way and fade out the opacity as you transition to the closeup. then cut straight to the next clip (or do a tiny 5-15 sec fade).

Sorry if it’s confusing.. lack of sleep and no Mt. Dew 😀
    Hope it helps.
