    memory issue

    I am getting ‘low memory’ messages on my projects that are not large.
    My G4 memory is 960 MB with a 784.7 unused block. My M100 project is using only 99i.7 MB of memory. I just changed over to a new PC6000 card with a 8.6 program rather than 7.2.2. All my projects have been doing this lately. I have virtual memory turned off. Do I have a bad setting or another HD issue? Suggestions??

    Re you running on OS9? Which version of Media 100? In the OS9 and earlier days you had to allocate memory to application. Select the Media 100 application in the Finder and press Command-I to get the info window while the app is not running. Then increase the Memory allocated to the application.

    Thanks Floyd, Your my Hero today! It worked and my memory is now under my control. I am on 9.2.2. and M100 7.2. Its still a great system!
