Nice Chris. I’m thinking that it’ll be a good idea to apply the technique to disintegrate 2D/3D objects – just so tat folks can see the versatility of the plugin/effect.

Yes, this is correct. This effect is not reserved for type only. It could be used on a .eps logo (for instance). See: https://www.mettle.com/technology/myl_ed_nab/nab_reg.php you will see the effect used on text as well as logos if you watch the whole sequence.
