    Hi all,

    big problem,
I’m grading a five-series documentary and finished the first already.
    My workflow was:
MediaManage the HDV 1080i50-project with only the files I needed to an external RAID, carry that over to the grading workstation and MediaManage it here to ProRes 1440*1080.

    My settings are:

Recompress to ProRes (or some Aja or Apple Uncompressed Codec)
delete unused media from duplicated items checked
duplicate selected items and place them in a new project checked

    everything else unchecked.

It worked with the first season, but now, the second step doesn’t want to work anymore.

It doesn’t even care in which codec to recompress, if I enable recompress, FCP quits unexpectedly after giving the name of the new project and hitting enter.

    Does anyone use this workflow?
    Why doesn’t it work?

    Thanks very much,

    MatzeHali
