    Hi,

Just need to confirm, is the mediafile format common between the Meridien and the Adrenaline ?

For example, if I capture on an Avid Media Composer Meridien system at 2:1, would I be able to use it on an Avid Adrenaline, and vice versa ?

    Thanks,

    Hi…

My understanding is that with the exception of Avid’s new DNXHD format material….all legacy codecs are handled in software by Adrenaline (and dnx may be as well)…

what this means is YES….you should be able to real your old media just fine on an Adrenaline….

Adrenaline uses the the same Meridien OMF resolutions that you are used to…and it can also work with other types of media, including MXF and DV.

    Yes. You will be fine.
