I’m trying to open Media 100i Version 8.2.3 and get an error message that says “Could not start application because the Media 100 driver (Media_100_Vincent.kext) faild to load. This system was working just fine. I shut it down disconnected everything to move to a new exit suite. Now Media 100 is not starting up. Can anyone help?

It sounds like your system does not recognize its board. If you run the Media 100 hardware test app you most likely will not see the board. Try to reseat the M100 board, maybe it got unseated during moving the system.
If the board is placed correctly in your system, you also could try to reinstall the Media 100 software (you can download it from the website). I am not sure why this should have happened, but if the Media 100 extension is not correctly installed on your system you would get this message also.

I tired reinstalling and reseating the boards and it is still not working. I do notice that when I try to open Media 100i the info in the opening window is gone. Name, Company, and serial number. Any thoughts? Would calling Media 100 service going to help?

Did you run the Media 100 hardware test application? This at least should give a hint about what´s wrong there.

The test doesn’t work either. I’m thinking the system doesn’t see the Media 100 board. Thanks for your help. We’ll have to call support.
