Media100HD RAID Configurations
As you may have seen Media100HD’s latest compatibility chart is from Dec 2004- a little outdated. What are some of the solutions that people have been using- with no problems in HD? The buzz is that they may have some exciting news to announce at NAB.
I like Apple’s setup as the drives are not rediculously expensive and they are guaranteeing 400Mbps which from what I have heard Media100HD uses 160Mbps for a single HD stream giving you plenty of bandwidth to add another stream and audio.
They also recommend RAID,Inc’s Falcon III and Rorke’s.
