Media100 – WMV 16×9?
has anyone had success converting 16×9 material in media100 to wmv 16×9? I’ve always exported by reference to cleaner, but cleaner always crashes. i thought maybe it was the fact that cleaner encodes using wmv7 but i even have flip4mac pro which encodes wmv9 and it crashes. any idea why? could this be related to media100?

I am cutting a 16:9 show right now (720×486 anamorphic). I export a self-contained file, open it up in Quicktime, and export a 16×9 WMV file using Flip4Mac (selecting the 16×9 size setting). Not sure why you are crashing… did you try a self-contained file using another codec (e.g. – Photo JPEG)?

Try installing (or reinstalling) the media 100 software codec. It worked for me, Cleaner started to behave itself again after I moved up to QT7. I make 16:9 WMVs with cleaner all the time, have had no problems since.

hmm. must be my cleaner. im running 6.0 on media100 HD and media100i. and it crashes on both. odd
