Anyone tried to work with media via symbolic links between disks? It would really make my life easier when it comes to editing and moving media/projects.

What’s a symbolic link? Do you mean alias? What format is your media?

I had no idea of what an alias is but after googling it i figure it’s the same thing. I do it with “terminal” and “ln -s”.

All media are Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

symbolic links and aliases are similar but NOT the same thing. Symbolic links should be used when doing stuff like this as they are invisible to the filesystem as seen by the app. Whereas aliases are seen as something different as evidenced by the face that the Get Info box displays kind: alias and tells you where the original file/directory is.
