  Media Tool Problem/ tape name

  I am writing this since I am having a huge problem with
  the media tool and identifying the correct tape name in the project.
  It seems that some of the original tape names are being
  changed automatically with out any notice.
  Some of the problem is that we sub-clipped some of the original
  master clips or duplicated some of the master clips for organization.
  And I can see that the same clip ‘links’ to different tape name even
  though it is not correct.
  I am afraid to face a nightmare in the online.
  I did a test with export of both AAF and EDL,
  in this test you can see clearly that some thing is off
  Since the same clip with the same TC, have 2 different tape names.
  I will love to e-mail you those files.
