media tool display/project list
When I open up AVID and select a project I have a list of projects.
When I use the Media tool, within a project, there is a list of projects to choose from (righthand side).
Problem is, there are more projects listed within the media tool than there are when selecting a project to open.
If I look on the Cdrive\PF\AVID\Media Composer Adrenalin\Avid Projects…. the list is identical to when I open a project which makes sense.
My question is, where are these “extra projects” and how can I delete them?

I think I got it.
If, when in the Media Tool, you select the “orphaned” or unexplained project,
find any media, master clips or precomputes associated with that project and delete them, then that project will be deleted from available projects to choose from within the Media Tool.
Gotta love that Media Tool.
