media still offline
Hello all,
I always get the error about media offline when i open an existing project. I click ignore and 90% it loads ok. When it does not load,, the sarch feature only pulls i one at a time and is a pain.
All of thismedia is in an external SSD. No files changed location and the drive letter is always the same…. Is it the external cauing me issues? It is not consistantly repeatable. It feels more random
Most recent,,, multiple tracks of older home movies, almost complete, yesterday loads no issue,, this morning 100% offline. Way to many clips to search location one at a time to reload.
What am i doing wrong?

Start to do a safety copy of your drives so you don’t loos your files, in case it’s the drive how becomes old or damaged, even dying. When it comes and goes like that, it can be a sign of a bad cluster or something else wrong with your drive. Good luck.👍
