    Hi all,
I’ve been kicking the tires on Premiere Pro, to help me decide which direction to take post Final Cut Pro 7 apocalypse. I love it so far mostly because I work in After Effects most of the time anyway, and it just makes to much sense to go Premiere.

One of the things I can’t seem to find an answer to is the discrepancy between the actual time code on my dvcpro HD P2 footage(shot from an HVX200) and what the timecode displays after I import it into the project in the project window. I feel like I’ve clicked every button trying to solve this. It seems to be off by 3sec and 18 frames.

Any reason Premiere is not reading the timecode correctly, or is it stupid operator error that’s been discussed multiple times already…I did a search honest!

Thanks for any help on this
