This problem just started recently. Every time I send an audio clip from FCP to Soundtrack Pro for work and then roundtrip it back to FCP I get the window telling me some of my files have gone offline (i.e. the sent audio clip) when I switch back over to FCP. The files won’t reconnect even when I manually locate them. I haven’t tried to see if this happens with any of the other programs in the suite (Motion, Color). The only way around it seems to be exporting the finished STAP file to an AIFF and then importing the AIFF into FCP and dropping into the timeline. But that’s an awful lot of work for something that should be automatic and seamless. Any ideas what’s causing this?
