“Media Pending” in renders
I understand Premiere needs time to load everything, but is there a way to check that everything is loaded prior to rendering to avoid getting “Media Pending” in your output files?
My project is four hours long so screening the whole thing before rendering after making one tiny change is not really feasible. Is there any setting or checklist? Like so Premiere can give you a warning, like, “hey, things aren’t all loaded yet, hold tight before you render.”

If you invoke the Make Movie command (or whatever it’s called – CMD/CNTR-M), the export window will usually tell you if you have off-line media. Then, you can cancel, and find it.
I’m not sure if Pr does this, but in some NLEs, you can run the Find command (CMD-F) on the timeline, and enter “offline,” and it will highlight them.

Thanks for the reply, however it’s not media that’s specifically offline, in my case it is mogrts that haven’t loaded in yet or something. I use mogrts for lower thirds or other elements but in some recent renders when they’re on screen and I’m watching back my render I see a big yellow “MEDIA PENDING” screen without having received any warning prior to rendering.

Export message only shows off line clips not media pending. So you should always check your timeline.
